Below are photos
and information about Darkhorse Farm's three year olds for sale. |
| Greczian:
2003 grey gelding by Alla'Czar This is Greczian (he is going gray), born April 8, 2003, by Alla'Czar out of Diana, a Westfalan mare. He is 6 days old in these first pictures. This is a big leggy colt with a nice blaze, two hind stockings and a very unique front sock that has black streaks running through the white. I expect this colt to mature to 16'2-3". He has good bone and will be a full bodied horse. He is conformationally correct, he is handled daily. He is IHF nominated. Oct 13, 2003 Oldenburg N/A inspection at Darkhorse Farm: Greczian is now 6 months old and has been inspected and is now branded Old N/A. He was a premium candidate scoring 8.0 for conformation/type and an overall score of 7.9. June '05: Greczian now stands 16H. We clipped him and did some little free-jumping. He showed the willingness to go to the jump and jumping form that have been consistent with Alla'Czar offspring. Greczian now has 30 days under saddle work at the show barn in Scottsdale with rider/trainer Renae Coates. He is now walk/trot/canter showing good movement and willingness to learn and please. Sept '05: Greczian made the trip to KY to show in the IHF Finals 2 year old hack. He and rider/trainer Renae Coates, pictured above, were 5th out of a nice class of 20+ entries. Greczian will now have some time off and come back to work as a 3 y /o next summer. March '08: Slow to update this (sorry). Greczian now stands 16'2+. He has had light work as a 3 and 4 year old. He has started jumping with a rider, small lines, trotting in and cantering out, and has a good natural lead change. He is ready to start his career and has the stride, attitude and jump to be a competitive A/O horse. Contact owner:

| April's Twist: 2004 Bay filly by Alla'Czar
This is Good Weather Twist's 2004 filly by Alla'Czar. This filly was born April 1st so is named April's Twist as her dam lines go back to New Twist (sire of Good Twist who was the sire of Gem Twist) on both sides. This is a very typey filly who displays the attributes of the TB/WB cross. She is athletic, moves well, and is quite friendly. I expect her to mature to 16'1-2H. She is handled daily, leads, ties, and picks up her feet for the farrier. Oct
11, '04: April's Twist was
presented to Oldenburg N/A. She was clipped, braided, bathed, all
of which she took in good temperament. She is now registered and
branded with this registry. She received good scores including an
8.1 for movement with an over all score of
7.9. This filly has been nominated to the IHF program and is fully
eligible. May '06: April's Twist now has 45 days under saddle training, pictured above. She was uncomplicated, willing and easy to start. She is not spooky, very balanced and seems to enjoy the new job. Trainer Renae Coates says she will make a great amateur horse. She has plenty of stride and shows a good jumping style when free jumped. April's Twist currently stands 16'1. Contact owner:
