Swizzle Stick: 2006 Chestnut Gelding by Galatois

Swizzle Stick is a North Am. Selle Francais registered gelding by Galatois (Galoubet x Isa Bella). He was foaled April 19th 2006 in Culpeper VA. His dam was an Oldenburg mare named Stella who was by Zeus, Alla'Czar's sire. I purchased this nice gelding when I bought his sire Galatois in Sept 2009. These first pictures were taken just shortly after he arrived here in AZ right off his haul from VA.
The SF registry names horses using the alphabet by year. 2006 was an "S" year.

Swizzle Stick is a beautiful mover and has a fantastic natural jump. He has been in training here for the past year and is now jumping small courses, 2'6-3', he has a lead change, he stands a solid 16'3". He is ready to go to a show home.

Fiona: 2008 PREMIUM filly by Fundy Du Mont

Fiona: 2008 filly by Fundy du Mont out of Alla'Kaczam a 5 year old (in 2008) Oldenburg N/A mare by Alla'Czar. Fundy is approved Selle Francais and I like the SF cross. Alla'Czar's sire Zeus was French on top of his pedigree. Fundy du Mont is by the very good French sire Quidam de Revel, who is by Jalisco B, who is by the foundation sire Alme, so this filly is very nicely bred.

Fiona was born early morning April 3, 2008. This foal picture was taken at a week old. She is nicely marked, very fancy face, good conformation.

Oct '08:Oldenburg N/A very graciously helped when the SF registry opted out of the US. What a mess. But, good news , this very nice, fancy filly is now Oldenburg N/A approved, branded and papered. Fiona was presented Oct 5th "08. She had her mane pulled, was clipped, bathed, braided and was loaded for the first time. She was very good to work with and took all the new experiences in stride. She received very good scores; 8.1 conformation/type, 8.2 movement, 8.2 overall impression and overall score 8.2 and Fiona is a PREMIUM Oldenburg N/A filly.

Jan 2011: Fiona, as a 3 y/o, is w/t/c and is jumping small jumps. This young filly continues to impress with her willingness and adaptability. She has a good confidence about her, has a good work ethic and is plesant to work around. 3 y/o pics below:

Jan 2012: Fiona continues to mature and train well. She has a good lead change, is brave to the jumps and continues to be athletic and eager to work and learn. She now stands a solid 16+H and has a good ground covering stride. She is doing small courses quietly and is ready to go to a good show home.

Greczian: 2003 Gray Gelding by Alla' Czar

Greczian is a 2003 gray gelding by my Dutch stallion Alla' Czar out of a Westfalan mare, so he is fully warmblood. He stands a soild 16' '3"+ and he is big bodied. He is a nice moving horse, has a good temperament and a good work ethic. He has easy lead changes and is brave to the jumps. He has a big stride and will make a nice amateur hunter and would be a good EQ horse also. He is attractive and easy to work with, he clips, he loads, is good for the farrier etc.

I sold Greczian as a 4 year old and now the young girl who bought him has joined the Army and so Greczian is again available for sale. For more info and pics of Greczian please click here.

Feb '11: Greczian is now jumping 3'-3'3". He has a big jump and a big step. He is ready to go.

Alla'Twist: 2006 Bay Filly by Alla'Czar

Alla'Twist: bay filly with 3 socks and a nice blaze o/o Good Weather Twist a Twist line bred TB mare. This filly has an excellent pedigree. She was born April 9th at 9:30 pm.

Oct '06, Oldenburg N/A inspection at Darkhorse Farm. She scored an 8.1 over all impression and a 7.9 Over all score. Allay is now branded Oldenburg N/A.

March 2011: Allay now a 5 y/o,( most recent pictures above), is jumping 2'6" to 3' courses, the bigger oxer is about 3'3". She has automatic lead changes. She stands 16'1+ and is full bodied, she rides big and has a good stride. She is honest to her jumps, willing and careful, quick and handy. She is not the fanciest hunter but would do the job respectably and would/could be a good EQ/Medal horse or even a lower level jumper. She is ready to go to the shows. She is very even tempered, not mareish.

Czartini: 2008 PREMIUM gelding by Alla'Czar

2008 bay colt by Alla'Czar o/o KY bred TB mare pics at 5 days

Czartini by Alla'Czar, out of a KY bred TB mare Pool House who is by Runaway Groom. This nice colt was born March 22nd' 08 and these first pictures were taken at 5 days old, first time out in the larger paddock. This is Pool's first foal and she is being exceptionally good for a maiden mare. I expect this colt to mature to 16'2 or so. He has a nicely refined head, is conformationaly correct and proportional. He has a star, strip, and two hind stockings. I think this colt would do well in Hunter Breeding in any company. He is IHF eligible and can be registered with Oldenburg N/A. He will be handled daily and already has been started in a halter and he is being very easy to work with.

Oct '08: Czartini was presented to Oldenburg N/A in Scottsdale AZ on Oct 5th. In preparation he had his mane pulled, was bathed, clipped and braided. He was loaded into the trailer for the first time. He took all these new experiences with good temperament. This nice colt scored well: 8.1 conformation/type, 8.3 movement, 8.1 overall impression and overall score 8.2. Czartini is a PREMIUM Oldenburg N/A colt. It should be noted that Oldenburg N/A toughened their criteria for Premium this year. Now all three base scores must be over 8.0 for premium status, not just the average as has been the practice in years past. The second set of pictures below are from inspection.

Sept '09: Czartini is now 18 months old and stands 15'1+.

April 2011: Czartini has 60 days u/s and is progressing nicely. He is willing to work and wants to please. He has a big huge lovely walk which is hard to show in pictures. He is w/t/c both leads and he is troting poles. He currently stands 16'1 and he will continue to grow some more.
