Darkhorse Farm is a small owner operated facility located in Gilbert AZ, which is about 30 miles Southeast of Phoenix. We offer acres of irrigated pastures, 2 barns with fans and misters to help deal with the AZ heat, as well as personalized equine care. We are a husband and wife team with over 35 years experience with horses. Our focus over the years has shifted from extensive showing in the Hunter/Jumper world, to a specialized breeding program, and facility to raise quality Hunter and Sporthorse prospects. We have been privileged to stand the Imported Dutch Stallion Alla' Czar for the past 12 years.
Now we are excited to welcome our new French stallion Galatios to our farm. Galatois comes to us from Premier Farm in Culpeper VA. We want to extend our sincerest thanks to Skip and Elise Lauinger for all their help with this transaction. Galatois is an exceptional stallion in all ways, pedigree, performance and temperment and we are excited to have him here as our new stallion.
We at Darkhorse Farm have actively participated in Hunter Breeding classes here locally and at some of the bigger shows out of state with very good success. We have also participated in the International Hunter Futurity (IHF) program and have had good successes at the various Regional Competitions and at the IHF Finals which is held in Lexington KY in September of each year.
