Osczar: In 1997 at the Capital Challenge Horse Show.  Osczar, owned by Dawn Fogel and ridden by trainer Rick Fancher, made Hunter History, by scoring the first perfect 100 in a Regular Working Hunter Class.

2003: Osczar is now retired from showing after many years of amazing
acomplishments. His owner, Dawn Fogel, says she will never sell him. He now travels with her to shows because she doesn't like to leave him alone at the farm and
he enjoys the horse show routine and loves to go out for a hack.

Osczar’s acomplishments include:

Czulu Feb' 05: First picture: Czulu and rider/ trainer Renae Coates moved into the First Year Green and Green Conformation divisions where they earned respectable prizes including a win at Tucson HITS Kachina Classic out of a class of 21 entries, a win in the Conformation class at HITS Sundance Welcome, and several second places pinning's in the under saddle classes. Czulu has moved successfully into the Jumpers with new rider/trainer Claudio Gallo. These pictures were taken at Thermal CA week 5 2008 where Czulu did the Level 4 and 5 Jumpers. He was 3 out of 92 horses on the Thurs of that week and then 2nd on Sat. Czulu is for sale.




Sczarlett: A 2001 Alla'Czar mare o/o Native Blossom (TB) is making a big hit with the judges as she moves into the Small Juniors.

2005 Highlights; IHF West Coast Regional 4 Y/O Grand Champion, ridden by John French, pictured top left. AZ Winter Circuit: Sczarlett earned 6 blue ribbons in the Children's Hunters, Champion at Arizona Season Finale, Reserve Champion at both Tucson Fall Festival and Tucson Fall Classic. She also was Reserve Champion in the Children's Hunter Zone Finals, ridden by Brenna Bollig, pictured top right.

2006 Highlights: Sczarlett moves into the Small Junior Hunters 15 & under and finishes the year with wins at AZ Winter Festival in Tucson, JR/AO Classic in Scts AZ, Sandia Classic in NM, Rocky Mtn Classic in Parker CO and earns year end Champion AHJA Small Junior Hunter and Reserve Champion Zone 8 Small Junior Hunter. Congratulations to Owner/Breeder Renae Coates and to Rider Brenna Bollig.

2007 Highlights: Sczarlett, a 6 year old mare by Alla'Czar, earns the Championship in the Small Juniors 16-17 week 5 AZ Winter Festival at HITS Tucson Winter Circuit. She was ridden by both Brenna Bollig and is pictured on the left in the Classic with Cassie Moffat. Congratulations to the Junior riders and to Owner/Breeder Renae Coates.

Ama'Czon, show name is now Playmate: Pictured here Aug '05 in the Level 1 Jumpers where she earned good prizes. Playmate's owner Tia Carr of Encanto Valley Farm, in Auburn, WA says she is taking it slow with this very talented mare but plans on nominating her for the Young Jumper Championships next year, as a coming five year old.

Tia says "I just want you to know, that we love this mare! She is so sensible and easy to deal with! We expect great things from her."

2007: Trainer/rider/owner Tia Carr moved Playmate up to the Level 3 AA jumpers. She was Reserve Champion in the AAs at the Mother's Day Classic in Eugene, OR and was on the winning team for the Starfire Farm Team Speed Relay at the Brawley Summer Classic in Jefferson, OR. Tia and her husband Morgan say " We continue to go slow with her because she clearly already "gets" her job. We just want to make sure we take our time in order to hopefully create a very competitive AO (Level 7) jumper.... Even though she is big, she rides like a sports car....incredibly balanced."



In The Czone: 2001 mare by Alla'Czar o/o TB mare; Owner/Breeder Lisa Cohen. This nice mare had a very successful career on the line winning many zone and national titles. She has now moved into the performance arena.

Ariczona, now named Arizona for pronunciation's sake, a 2001 bay gelding by Alla'Czar, begins his show career as a 5 year old. Arizona, barn name Oz, is now owned by Heather Young of Ocala FL and is pictured above showing in KY ridden by Darrin Dlin. This nice young horse was bred here at Darkhorse Farm and we are looking forward to watching him progress in his show career. Congratulations Heather and thanks for the picture!

Iczing as a 5 y/o in young jumper competition

Iczing: 2001 pinto mare by Alla'Czar o/o Art Deco mare, is now competing in the Young Jumpers. Iczy, is now owned by Richard Jackson and ridden and trained by Josette Wohlers who trains at Ten Barr Ranch in OR. Iczy is pictured above with her trainer at the Young Jumpers in Canada where she was 5th in the 5 year olds, jumping 1.10 with a score of 92. " In this class they score half of the round on the faults. Iczing was clean and with in the time. Which gives her a perfect score of 50 , the second half was a score for technique she got a score of 42 giving her a final score of 92. The winner got a score of 99, it was a very good class." Quote trainer Josette Wohlers.
This nice young horse was bred here at Darkhorse Farm and we are looking forward to watching her continued successes with her new owner and trainer. Thanks for sending this great picture.


 
Czar's Keepsake, a 2001 mare by Alla'Czar, pictured above with owner/rider Kaitlyn Behling at the Equifest Horse Show in the Chicago area (Zone 5) July '06. This young partnership, Kaitlyn is 13 and 'Annie'( barn name) is just 5, were Champion in the Novice Children's Division. As mom Lisa says "The greatest thing is that most of the horses she competes against are old "Pros", so it is especially great to see a young kid do well on a young horse." Congratulations.




Alladin, a 2001 Darkhorse Farm bred gelding, was purchased in Mar '05 by 14 year old Brenna Bollig and this pair are now earning top ribbons at big A shows in AZ and CA. Placings include:

- Aug; ShowPark All Seasons Summer Festival: Reserve Champion Children's Hunter with 2 wins in the division and 2nd in the Classic.
- June: The Oaks June Classic: 2 first place hunter rounds and 2nd in the Classic earning the Reserve Championship.
- March: Scottsdale Spring Classic: 3 first place ribbons and Champion.

Feb'04: Czia and Rider/Trainer Renae Coates moving into the Pre-Green Division at the Tucson Winter Circuit where they earned good prizes.

Czia: a 1999 Darkhorse Farm homebred mare is now competing successfully with her new owner, 10 year old Rachael Bollig. Rachael began leasing Czia in Nov '03 and this pair went from Short Stirrup/Beginner Rider to Champion in the Childrens Hunters Mar '04. That is quite an accomplishment. Pictured here with Rachael at The Oaks, San Juan Capistrano, CA in June '04, where they were 2nd out of about 60 entries in a Low Hunter Class. Next picture in Tucson AZ Feb '04 where they were Equitation 11 and under both flat and o/f champions. Also pictured with trainer Renae Coates as Czia moves into the Pre-Green Division which is being used as a warm up for the Children's Hunters. Czia and Rachael ended 2004 7th Zone 8 in Children's Hunters and with Renae Coates Czia was 12 in Zone 8 in the Pre-Greens, with limited showing, Czia was only 5 years old.

2005: Czia ( now 6 y/o) and Rachael Bollig (now 11 years old) have moved into the Small Junior Hunters. They are currently, as of May '05 4th in Zone 8 Small Juniors 15 and under, with a big win at the Fast Lane Jr/Ao Hunter Classic, Sundance Welcome HITS Tucson AZ Feb '05.

Dec '05: Czia and Rachael finish up the year 4th in Zone 8 Small Juniors. They also took a turn in the Jumper ring at Tucson Fall Circuit, just for fun and something different. No prizes won but a lot of learning done and a lot of fun being had.

2001-2002: The Chairman with amatuer owner Margaret Camp has moved into the A/O 18-35 division as well as into the First Year Greens with considerable successes, winning at Gulf Port (MS), Aiken Spring Classic (SC), Elan Classic (GA), Kentucky Spring Classic, etc. This picture was taken at Conyers, GA, Atlanta Spring Classic.

Cumberland County and owner Suzanne Mayo capture the 3' Non-Pro Finals at Legacy Cup May 2002 Cumberland County 2002: with owner Suzanne Mayo pictured at the prestigious Legacy Cup , the hunter competition with the unique format (four judges placed at intervals around the ring) held May 5th at the VA HS, where they captured the 3' Non-Pro Finals Championship. They competed successfully in the A/A older division at Brownland Farm, Nashville Country H/J, Country Heir June and 11, and Blue Grass Festival.
